MAJOR EASING OF COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

Following the announcement by the government on Major Easing of Covid-19 Restrictions, the temple will resume all activities from 26 April 2022.

In line with the easing of the restrictions, these regulations will be implemented:

1. Safe distancing between individuals and groups is no longer required.
2. No requirement to check in hrough Trace Together App or Token.
3. All visitors are required to wear face mask when in the Temple.

总务处启29/3/2022 LI TECK CHUAN CIN TONG Dear Members EASING OF SAFE MANAGEMENT MEASURES (SMMs) The Covid-19 situation in Singapore has improved and the Multi-Ministry Taskforce has announced further easing of SMMs which will be in forced from 29 March 2022. Under the new SMMs, private worship is capped at Groups of 10 persons. In line with the revised SMMs, all visitors to the Temple are required to observe the following conditions:

1. Visitors must be fully vaccinated (including booster shot) and are required to check-ins by the Trace Together App or Token.
2. All persons present must wear face mask at all times.
3. Visitors are required to book an appointment to carry out private worship.

The Ancestral Hall will remain closed except during Ching Ming Festival in 3rd lunar month and Winter Memorial Festival in 12th lunar month will be open for private worshipping Do not visit the Temple if you are unwell. 总务处启 25/10/2021 EXTENSION OF THE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS DURING STABILISATION PERIOD The Covid-19 restrictions during Stabilisation Period has been extended by another month from 25 October until 21 November 2021. Visitors to the temple will be required to observe the following measures:

1. Visitors must be fully vaccinated and check-ins by the TraceTogether App or Token.
2. Group sizes of up to 2 persons is allowed to carry out non-congregational activities or personal worship services.

22/7/2021 Dear Members, COVID-19 ENHANCED SAFE MANAGEMENT MEASURES The government has introduced enhanced Safe Management Measures (SMM) to curb community spread of Covid-19 to take effect from 22 July to 18 August 2021. In compliance with the enhanced SMM, visitors to the temple are required to observe the following regulations:

1. Visitors will be allowed to enter the temple with Safe Entry check-ins only by the TraceTogether App or Token.
2. Ancestral tablets hall will remain closed.
3. Groups of no more than 2 persons will be allowed to carry out non-congregational activities and personal worship.
4. Visitors are required to wear mask at all times and observe social distancing by keeping one meter apart.
5. For the safety of visitors and members, do not visit the temple, if you are unwell.
6. Visitors are required to make an appointment before visiting the temple.

Due to a spike in COVID-19 community cases, the government has introduced tighter measures primarily to curb the spread of the virus.

Therefore, from 14 May 2021 the Ancestral Memorial Hall will be closed and private worship will be disallowed until further notice.

We regret for the inconvenience caused.

NOTICE OF OPENING FOR PRIVATE WORSHIP

Dear Members,

Singapore will exit the Circuit Breaker from 1 June 2020. Under phase 1 of the exit, the temple will open for members to carry out private worship from 2 June 2020.

Under phase 1 of the exit, up to a maximum of five households at any one time and not more than 5 members from the same household will be allowed to enter the temple to carry out private worship.

Members planning to carry out private worship are therefore required to call the office to make prior appointment. Members who did not make an appointment will be disallowed to enter the temple.

When in the temple, Members are required to observe safe distancing and the following rules and safety measures:

    • Use your handphone to Scan the SafeEntry QR code

    • Wear face mask

    • Immediately leave the temple after worshipping

2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

According to the Constitution of Li Teck Chuan Cin Tong (the Institute) it is required to hold its 2020 Annual General meeting by 31 May 2020.

In view of the circuit breaker, the Institute will not be able to hold its 2020 Annual General Meeting by 31 May 2020.  The Institute will make further announcement to update its members on the convening of the 2020 Annual General Meeting in due course.

Subject to the approval of members, the Registrar of Societies will not object to the Institute to hold its Annual General Meeting after 31 May 2020.

Any member who disagrees with the above, may submit his objection by 11 May 2020.
